Software Upgrades (and Updates) |

When applying an upgrade or update to your software, you must follow the steps covered under each section of the Software Upgrades portion of this User Manual. There are three sections: Pre-Upgrade Instructions, Upgrade Instructions, and Post-Upgrade Instructions. DO NOT skip any steps.
Access the Client Area Software upgrades are freely available to you for your software edition if you are currently covered under a Software Update/Support Contract with Geodesic Solutions. Upgrading your software is very easy to do if you carefully follow the instructions outlined in this section of the User Manual. All upgrades are distributed through a Client Area on the Geodesic Solutions website. This Client Area is NOT the same as the Support Center on our site. So, if you do not have Client Area access please send the following details to sales@geodesicsolutions.com so that our staff can create your account and provide you with access to download the software:
Check for Pre-Upgrade Instructions for your Version Prior to beginning the Upgrade process, you must first check to see if you are required to perform any pre-upgrade steps in order to prepare your software for the upgrading. The reason for this is that your software may either be out-of-date or it may not be fully compatible with the latest release of our software.
