Add New Question

The fields below will allow you to enter a question that will be used for this category only:

Name

Give your new question a name. This is the label that will be displayed to the seller when asking them this category question.

Explanation

Entering text in this field will automatically display a 'help' icon next to the field for the seller to understand exactly what this question is asking for. This field may be left empty in most cases, but if you have a category question that may need a little explaining, this may help. The explanation is not displayed on the Listing Display Page. Only the seller sees your explanation.

Question Type

There are several field types available that you can give the seller to answer the question. They are discussed in more detail under the "Question Types" section of this manual.

Display "Other" Box

This field is typically used when the "question type" you have set is for a "pre-valued dropdown". In a pre-valued dropdown you give the seller several choices to select from. However, if you do not give them a choice that they need within the dropdown, you can still provide them with an "other" box which is essentially a 'text field' that displays next to the "pre-valued dropdown".

Display Order

You can choose the order that this question will be displayed relative to other 'category specific questions' for this category.
